To help new teachers who have joined the faculty in the past five years quickly grasp the core concepts and techniques of teaching the "College Physics Laboratory" course and to enhance their ability to teach experimental courses, ensuring the quality of their teaching work, the College of Physics and Electrical Engineering held a training session for new teachers on experimental teaching on April 13th in Room 301 of the Physics and Electrical Engineering Building.
This training session was led by Xu Chenguang, the director of the Experimental Center of the college. With extensive experience in experimental teaching, research, and laboratory management, Xu Chenguang provided a detailed introduction to the basic requirements and precautions for experimental teaching. He combined specific experimental cases to discuss experimental preparation, procedures, and other aspects with the new teachers, demonstrating how to design and conduct an efficient experimental class.
At the training site, the new teachers listened attentively and asked questions enthusiastically, showing great enthusiasm for their teaching careers. Xu Chenguang's rigorous teaching style and concise expression also enriched the young teachers greatly.
Through this training, the new teachers not only gained a deeper understanding of the essence and requirements of experimental teaching but also mastered a series of practical teaching skills and laboratory safety knowledge, laying a solid foundation for their future teaching work. The college will continue to organize similar trainings, dedicated to providing teachers with more opportunities for academic exchange and professional training, promoting the continuous improvement of teaching standards.
